10 ABSOLUTE NEEDS FOR YOUR DORM!
HELLO MY INCOMING FRESHMAN!! The list is officially here!
If you're stumped on what you should purchase for your dorm, I've got you!
Before my freshman year, I spent a lot of time scrolling around tiktok and pinterest in hopes of finding helpful goods for my dorm, this is personally because I'm stingy with money and would hate for it to go to waste.
Relatably, if you're feeling anxious like how I did, you get the feeling! I'm here to make this process as simple as possible for you by first suggesting the necessary items that you'll actually use during your first exciting year at college!
Shower Shoes Quick Drying Non-Slip Comfortable Men Women House Slippers
$15.68 - $16.68
I would rather be caught licking dirt off the floor before EVER being caught in a communal shower without shower shoes. Theres been so many people who have lived in that dorm way before you and if you think anyone cleaned that shower properly... You're lying to yourself!! Its better to be safe than sorry.
Best Price Mattress 2-inch Ventilated Gel Memory Foam Topper - Twin, Blue
$28.47
You're obviously going to need a mattress topper for your bed! Those beds are as hard as rocks, one time I called my self full fledge launching myself onto my bed and now my hip don't work... Besides that I personally had a thin mattress topper and slept good as hell, But for a more comfortable option def opt for this one!
DampRid Fresh Scent Hanging Moisture Absorber, 1 Pound (Pack of 3) - Eliminates Musty Odors for Fresher, Cleaner Air, Ideal for Closet, 14% More Moisture Absorbing Power*- Blue
$15.99
Need I say more...? I'ts HOT in Georgia and not only that, but HUMID! While on my vacay in SoCal, my family friend Chloe mentioned how she enjoyed the fact California is a dry kind of heat compared to Georgia where it's a humid kind. And so I fully recommend having one of these to help soak up moister, and keep your clothes from deteriorating!

This is a absolute must! I personally didn't have one during my first year, but as a business major I truly regretted it. It is important to look presentable because in college first impressions are definitely important!
Utopia Home Clothes Hangers 50 Pack - Plastic Hangers Space Saving - Durable Coat Hanger with Shoulder Grooves
*I get on my knees and I beg to you* PLEASE DO NOT GET VELVET HANGERS!!
I had them and the hooks just kept falling out left and right. It was definitely a waste of money so please opt for these hangers.
Stackable Small Shoe Rack, Entryway, Hallway and Closet Space Saving Storage and Organization

Yes, Yes, And YES! definitely get a shoe rack! Since my dorm was small, shoes on the floor just made it look cluttered and unorganized.
