I Volunteered to help out today at pride and met so many wonderful people! I've never been to such a place where people were so glad and happy to greet me and also give me all their money πŸ‘Ή (I worked the merch stand). 
Nobody's ever truly asked me why I attend these events or support them, But I'm willing to give a answer to my imaginary interview LOL.

I'm 19 now, come from a christian family, and have always been in the church. With all this being said I'm glad God blessed me with parents who think differently of their faith and values. I was never taught to discriminate towards others who had different lifestyles, but to love them, And I truly do! During my time in Church I had a strong role model who I loved very much, her name was Mrs. Dee. She use to watch over me A lot and also gave me some of her clothes, But Mrs. Dee was different. The church wasn't fond of her because she was a TransGender woman who loved to be a drag queen and perform. In the end they ended up running her from the church (she left because she felt un-welcomed and I don't blame her). She was loved very much by our choir as she was also apart of it, and we never truly forgave the pastor for what he has done. 
I wouldn't consider my parents a religious family but a spiritual family is perfect. They hold christian values but its not bound by the small box of religion. Jesus didn't hate those who were different and for sure did not judge or shun them. He truly Loved everyone, And even if he did or didn't, that still wouldn't stop me from supporting and being with the people or partners I truly love. 


With all this being said, I still hold what I believe a fairy secret (best reference)πŸ‘Ή. But just know I love you all!!!! HAPPY PRIDE!!!!

Sometimes I get confused whether others are talking to me and I burst out laughing! She was so kind and one thing about a beautiful black woman, They always gonna hype you up!
